Volkswagen Golf Mk1 GTI

As pristine as when its first owner drove it out of a Volkswagen dealership 41 years ago, this stunning Mk1 GTi is a pure delight.

Presented in gleaming Alpine White with grey pin stripe interior, this 1982 car is in stunning condition despite its 156k miles and has been fully restored to a very standard including a freshly refurbished 14” Tarantula alloy wheels.

The condition of the car’s interior is of the same high standard as the exterior. The original seats have remained in wonderful condition and all of the trim and controls have stood the test of time. The original leather steering wheel has benefitted from a recent retrim, too.

Being a later production car, the more powerful 1.8 engine with 5-speed box sits under the bonnet and have also recently benefitted from professional attention. A new clutch was fitted along with new gear linkage, timing belt and exhaust. The suspension was also refreshed with new parts where necessary.

A good history file accompanies the car, too, with past receipts and invoices.
