This 1983 short wheelbase Land Cruiser BJ40 is the result of one of the most meticulous restorations we’ve ever seen and is truly a work of art.

Fresh from a complete overhaul from renowned specialists, Hogg & Swan, this 40 series is better than new.

The beautiful Royal Blue bodywork and 16″ wheels with Bridgestone Dueller M/T tyres give a sophisticated but purposeful look to the timeless design, and every single detail is flawless – from the bumpers to the NATO hitch, lights to the chrome hubcaps.

Flashes of the meticulously rebuilt chassis and suspension are proudly on display as you walk around the car with every fixture and fitting being zinc plated, galvanised or powdercoated to perfection.

The tasteful custom brown leather interior is a work of art, too, with all fixtures and fitting looking factory fresh. The folding rear bench seats allow for you and 6 of your friends to travel in retro style, too.

This 40 isn’t just a show car, either, with its bulletproof 3.0 4-cylinder diesel engine, 4-speed manual gearbox, Hi/Low range, locking front hubs, front disc brakes and powersteering giving it proper off road capability – all of which have been completely rebuilt.

BJ40s have never lost their cool factor, and this spectacular example will not only put a smile on the face of anyone driving it, but anyone who sees it, too.
