And then there are cars like this Morgan… where somebody clearly lost their mind, their weekends and probably their marriage doing it properly.

This absolutely stunning Morgan 4/4 “Competition” has undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration in Europe, with an enormous history file documenting the transformation from start to finish. Every stage photographed, every detail recorded, every invoice kept. The sort of file you leave out on the coffee table because you’re proud of it. And rightly so.

Finished in what appears to be Morgan Royal Blue / Indigo Blue metallic with contrasting black quilted leather interior and black soft top, this is without question one of the finest Morgans currently in Ireland. The finish, fit and attention to detail throughout are simply concours level.

The car genuinely looks like it belongs on the lawn at Pebble Beach… but thankfully drives like something you’d actually want to use. Everything was rebuilt. And we mean everything.

The “Competition” plaque fitted inside the car suits it perfectly because it has a far more purposeful feel than your average Sunday-show Morgan. The engine is exceptionally lively, the gearbox feels strong and precise, and the whole car feels properly sorted. The underside and engine bay are every bit as impressive as the exterior.

Open the bonnet and you’ll immediately understand where the restoration money went. Even the details are right:

Finding a Morgan 4/4 this sorted is difficult. Finding one in Ireland is nearly impossible. And finding one restored to this standard? Forget about it.
