Mercedes R129 280 SL

The R129 SL marked a huge step forward in design and innovation over the R107 SL and they are now enjoying a surge in popularity as more and more of them become eligible for classic tax and insurance.

This beautiful black on black 280 example from 1994 is in wonderful condition and has covered a mere 65k miles in its 31 years.

Having had a full professional respray to a high standard in recent years, including the wheels, the car presents extremely well. The refresh isn’t only skin deep, either, with the whole underside having been stripped and resealed along with having €2.5k of fresh suspension parts fitted at the same time.
