Mercedes 190 E Cosworth

Born from the need to homologate the race engine for their DTM race car, Mercedes launched the 2.3-16 version of the W201 190 E – or the Cosworth, as we know it – a bodykitted, performance version that has earned legendary status.

This 1988 Smoke Silver Metallic car is a desirable manual version with Sports Check interior is in beautiful condition despite its 154,500 miles.

The bodywork and paintwork are excellent with no obvious imperfections and the wheels have been recently refurbished, too. The interior is of an equal high standard with a freshly re-upholstered leather steering wheel and gearknob and boasts an electric sunroof and original radio, too.

This Cosworth is beautiful to drive, too, with its 5-link rear suspension and LSD, plus dogleg gearbox to make the most of the 2.3 4-cylinder 16 valve engine.
