BMW E12 528 Automatic

The E12 represents the birth of BMW’s 5-Series range, and this beautiful original Irish 1980 528i with 50k miles is a stunning example. Believed to be one of two ordered new in Ireland, this Kerry registered car is quite a rare machine.

Having undergone a major refresh in recent time to bring it up to standard, the car is now aesthetically and mechanically in superb condition.

The Arctic blue metallic paint is simply beautiful and the bodywork, brightwork and trim are all excellent. The 15” Alpina style wheels have been fitted with 4 brand new Hankook tyres.

The standard of the interior is the same, with the contrasting beige velour seats, carpets, wood, door panels and headcloth all in wonderful condition. The dashboard is crack-free and even the glovebox flashlight is present.

The 2.8 M30 straight-six fuel injected engine and automatic gearbox are smooth, refined and, as part of the extensive recent works, the car received a carb rebuild, new fuel pump, new brake lines, front discs, pads plus a full engine service including all filters.
