As the company’s first series-produced 4-door saloon, the Rapide holds a special place in Aston Martin’s history. Not to mention it’s devastaingly handsome.
This early-production 2010 car in Tungsten Silver looks as sharp now as it did 15 years ago, and has clearly lead an easy life over its mere 45k miles.
The scuplted low-slung bodywork is pristine thanks, in part, to a full ceramic coating and there’s added flare and drama in spades with those wide haunches, bonnet louvres and the precision engineered front and rear door openings.
The front of the cockpit is very typical of Aston Martin and boasts all of the usual tech and refinements you would expect such as Bang & Olufsen sound system and white stitched leather, while the split rear seating offers individual heated and cooled seats with zoned A/C controls. The practicality continues with a wide opening rear hatch and deep boot space.
The driving experience is pure Aston Martin with that tried and tested 5.9 V12 providing 470bhp and the lightweight VH chassis working to combat the usual dynamics of a typical executive saloon.
A full service history is present with a mixture of Aston Martin main dealer and specialist stamps, and the car will be provided with a fresh service before delivery to its new owner. 4 new tyres have just been fitted, too.
The car has the added bonus of full 5-piece Aston Martin luggage set, and it also boasts an upgraded ApplePlay system, reversing camera and glass buttons all replaced by Aston Martin Installations.
A very impressive example of one of the most exciting execuive saloons in decades that still feels special.
