Subaru Impreza WRX

The release of the Impreza in 1992 started a revolution, not only for Subaru, but for performance cars, too.

This Japanese market 1994 WRX was a Grade 4 import to Ireland in 2008 and has recently received a full body, engine and mechanical overhaul at great expense.

A fresh coat of the car’s original black paint was applied in April 2021 along with other new fixtures and fittings including new door handles, front and rear windscreen trims, boot rubber and bumper indicators and side lights. The 16” wheels were repainted, too, and fitted with brand new tyres.

New brake callipers, discs and pads were also fitted together with a fully photographed rebuilt engine to original spec from JG Motorsport in summer 2021 using all genuine parts. A new coolant tank, alternator, Exedy clutch kit with resurfaced flywheel and rebuilt starter motor were fitted, too.

The overall result is a beautifully presented and well-built car in original trim (save for an upgraded exhaust and head unit) that drives every bit as good as it looks.

Early unmolested Impreza WRXs are enjoying a revival at the moment and this stunning example wants for absolutely nothing.
