Seen by many as the purest form of the legendary marque, this short wheelbase narrow-body 911T from 1968, previously owned by Irish rugby legend Shane Horgan, is simply stunning.
Having undergone a major bare-metal restoration six years ago by Porsche guru, Brian Kane, this original rhd UK car has been completely refreshed and the finish throughout is exceptional.
The original interior was enhanced with new carpets, headliner and a beautiful period correct Momo Prototipo steering wheel, the electrical and piping components were restored or replaced, as necessary, and the engine was upgraded to a later 2.4 unit with twin triple-choke Weber carbs which, needless to say, sound absolutely glorious!
The shell was fully rust treated throughout and painted in a fresh coat of its original colour before having the black side striped added.
The odometer indicates the car has covered 57k miles and its original service book and red wallet is still present.
This is a beautiful and sympathetically restored 911 icon that not only looks incredible, but drives beautifully, too. Simply put, it’s impossible to fault.
