By the late sixties it was clear that MG had a great car with the MG B but many owners were requesting more power, and by 1967 the MG C was conceived.
Presented in the classic colour combo of Snowberry White with black roof and interior, this beautiful example was built for the UK market in 1969 and registered in 1970.
The overall condition is truly excellent with the bodywork, wheels, chrome and interior all scoring excellently. A brand new soft top was fitted last summer, too.
An impressive history file accompnaies the car with invoices going back to the early 80s, old MOTs, owner’s manuals and even a heritage certificate. In recent years, the entire suspension and braking system was refurbished and an after-market electrictronically adjustable power steering system was fitted.
A real wolf in sheep’s clothing, the acceleration and performance from the 3.0 straight-six genuinely surprises and makes for excellent long-legged cruising ability.
Having been maintained to a very high standard this C drives as it should and has become a sought-after rarity.
Viewing strictly by appointment. All cars supplied with valid NCT where appropriate.
