MG B Roadster

The MGB is often thought of as the definitive classic car. A compact sports car available as a GT or Roadster with a variety of specs, trims, wheels and engines, plus a cult following and readily available spares and parts.

This 1970 Roadster is an original Irish car (with Dublin registration) and was assembled by Booth Poole in Island Bridge.

Finished in the very attractive colour combo of Flame Red with black leather interior, this MG was subjected to a thorough restoration in all departments to a very high standard approximately 5 years and, as a result, presents in truly stunning condition.

The exterior, interior, underside, engine bay and boot area are all exceptional with even the footwells of the cockpit boasting a wonderful paint finish despite never being visible to the casual onlooker!

All trim, including the black retractable/removable soft top is in wonderful condition, too, and all of the controls work exactly as they should.

The restoration wasn’t just superficial, either. The 1.8 engine, 4 speed manual gearbox, overdrive and drivetrain were all overhauled and the result is a car that drives every bit as good as it looks.

A very well cared for example of an Irish assembled motoring icon that needs nothing and is ready to be enjoyed.
