Mercedes W140 S400 LWB

39,995.00

Affectionately, and aptly, known as ‘The Cathedral’, the size and presence of the W140 S class is something to behold.

This S400 LWB from 1994 was, at the time, was one of the most expensive models in the Mercedes range and is regarded as the last of the ‘overengineered’ cars they produced, packed with technology and comfort innovations by the legend that was known as Bruno Saco. Reputedly costing Mercedes nearly a billion to produce.

Double-pane windows, four-zone climate control, self-levelling suspension, soft-closing doors and bootlid, electric and heated seats, suede headcloth, sunroof, cruise control and enough rear legroom that you could play a full football match in. The spec list is phenomenal.

The overall condition of this car is superb and the car has been maintained regardless of cost throughout its life. The Blue Black bodywork is largely original and has been detailed by JC Autocare. The overall condition is stunning and being a Japanese car, the underside is superb.

The effortless 4.0 V8 oozes power and refinement and has been maintained as you would expect. An mega car and one that’s better in the flesh than in photos.

This is a beautiful example of a very special Mercedes and one that you won’t regret owning.

Viewing strictly by appointment. All cars supplied with valid NCT where appropriate.
