Mercedes R107 280 SL

Produced for a staggering 18 years, it’s fair to say that the R107 SL was a popular car in its time, and not much has changed.

This beautiful 1984 example has been beautifully maintained over its 100k miles.

The combination of the Lapis Blue bodywork and Mexican Hat alloys is timeless and the car presents in excellent condition.

Inside, the mathcing blue sports check seats, wood trim and carpet are still remarkably fresh and the car has the added bonus of a recently fitted Blaupunkt Bremen with bluetooth, upgraded speakers and a sub woofer.

The smooth 2.8 six cylinder and 4-speed automatic gearbox still perform faultlessly and the car is a joy to drive with the roof up or down.

An extensive history file and factory hard-top and stand also accompany the car.

All in all, a very attractive SL that’s been well cared for and is ready to be enjoyed.
