Time has proven that the glory days of big-engined cars is most definitely in the past, and one of our favourite cars of this category must be the Mercedes C63 AMG.
This 2009 saloon is stunning in its Tenorite grey colour and freshly refurbished upgraded multi-spoke AMG wheels and boasts the epic 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 (not 6.3 as the badging would suggest!).
The spec includes very attractive leather/cloth check AMG part-electric deep bolstered seats, Harmon/Kardon sound system, adaptive headlights, Sat Nav, tilt and slide sunroof all on top of the usual Mercedes refinements you would expect.
The engine and driving experience are what the C63 is really about, however, and they are nothing short of awesome.
Being the first AMG car to have been designed from the ground up, as opposed to just having bolt-on performance upgrades, the C63 must be one of the best driving (and sounding) cars they have ever produced – from the staggering performance from the 6.2 V8, perfectly balanced steering, massive brakes and responsive handling…the car does everything you could want with room for the family, too.
The car has a service history covering its 87k miles and has just had major service including new timing chain and tensioners.
This is a very impressive car overall and is one of the very last naturally aspirated big-engined AMGs.
