Mercedes C123 300CD

The 123 range is long celebrated in its saloon and estate variants, but its coupe derivitive – the C123 – is becoming a very rare sight on our roads.

Presented in Anthracite Grey this beautiful 1984 example is a rare 300CD that started life in California before being imported to Ireland in 2014.

Incredibly the car has had just 2 owners in its 41 years – the first being the original single lady owner that went by the name of Betty J. Olin, who bought the car new from Mercedes in California, and the second being the gentleman who shipped it across the Atlantic after years searching for a perfect example.

Having been garaged throughout its time in California, the car presents in beautiful original condition with only minor signs of its age showing. The paint, trim and wheels are all very good and the tan interior is sensational with its Zebrano wood and crack-free dashboard. Fully functioning air conditioning is a bonus, too.

Not commonly found in a C123 in Ireland, the legendary 3.0 diesel is known for being indestructable and, with a mere 119k miles on the clock, some would say that the engine is barely even run in.

The car has been regularly serviced in while Ireland and has had some major recent expenditure including new glow plugs, engine mounts, rebuilt diesel pump, major service plus all new window seals.

A very charming and extremely original car that will provide endless enjoyable motoring.

Viewing strictly by appointment. All cars supplied with valid NCT where appropriate.
