The Mazda MX5 is nothing short of legendary. Its arrival in 1989 heralded a new age of compact sports cars, and its popularity only seems to be growing.

This first generation Eunos Roadster version from 1990 is in largely original spec and was most recently owned by the same family for the last 20 years who stored and used the car at their holiday property in France.

The car presents in completely standard form and has clearly had an easy life over its mere 93k kilometers (58k miles).

Despite some age related marks, the Classic Red bodywork still holds a deep shine while the interior is of an excellent standard and has had a genuine Momo steering wheel fitted and a chrome gearknob.

On the road is where this car really shows its true colours, however. The balance and handling are just right and the engine, gearbox and steering are super responsive. It’s impossible to not smile while throwing it around some backroads!

The car comes complete with 3 original keys, original owners manual and service history spanning the past 10 years. Recent work includes matching brand new tyres, a full service, timing belt and water pump, plus a new mohair hood with new rubbers and heated glass screen.
