Land Rover Defender 110 V8 Pickup

It’s often said that no two Defenders are exactly the same, and we’re confident that this remarkable 110 V8 Pickup is one of kind.

Following an extensive and costly restoration 3 years ago by reknowned Land Rover specialists, Stryker, this ’88 Defender has been expertly rebuilt, tastefully upgraded and beautifully finished.

Although in general good condition prior to the restoration with less than 30k miles on the clock, the previous owner had ambitious plans to futureproof the underpinnings and give it a makeover in his vision.

The ⁠chassis received minor repairs and was then painted, waxed and sealed. A brand new bulkhead was fitted along with new wings, doors and a bonnet from a later Puma model and were all treated to a stunning bare metal paint job in the glorious Land Rover colour of Epsom Green.

New deepdish gloss black wheels fitted with BF Goodrich K02 tyres fill the fat arches, and new lights, bumpers badges and grill were fitted too.

Inside, a trio of stunning new tan leather seats welcome you (driver’s and main passenger’s are heated), and other refinements come in the form of electric windows, heated windscreen, Pioneer touch screen radio with Apple CarPlay, and a beautiful Momo wood-rimmed steering wheel.

The upgrades weren’t just superficial either with new disc brakes all around plus power steering fitted.

Unusually for a V8 Defender, this Pickup is pleasantly quiet (thanks in-part to a fully sound deadened cab), comfortable and easy to drive with plenty of power available from the 3.5 Rover V8 sitting under the bulging bonnet.
