Lancia Fulvia S1 Rallye

It’s fair to say the Italians know a thing or two about style, and who could argue with that when you see this beautiful 1968 Lancia Fulvia S1 Rallye.

This stunning example started its life in Italy before being exported to the Netherlands in the late noughties, and then on to Ireland in 2015.

Being a desirable Rallye model, the S1 bodywork boasts aluminium doors, bootlid and bonnet and the overall condition of the gleaming white bodywork and black leather interior is superb.

All of the chrome finishings have stood the test of time remarkably well, too, and the car is presented in entirely original spec, complete with its original radio and steering wheel.

Mechanically, the car is on point, too, having had a recent full service plus other major work including a cylinder head rebuild, new front brake callipers and dics, and rear brake overhaul.

This Fulvia’s beauty is more than skin deep, too, with its innovative and gutsy 1.3 V4 engine and 5-speed dog-leg gearbox which make for a beautiful partnership. The surprising engine performance and precise gear change really add to the sense of occasion you feel when behind the wheel.

Complete with a large history file, this is a wonderful example of an appreciating Italian classic.
