The Jaguar XK8 is a fine example of the marque’s modern classic grand touring cabriolet which was a major turn for the company to bring Jaguar into the modern age.

Presented in the elegant shade of Carnival Red over a beige/oatmeal leather-trimmed interior, featuring a two-tone beige dashboard the interior boasts swathes of leather and handsome wood veneer trim.

Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre V8, producing around 300bhp and driving the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. The glorious V8 sounds fantastic and is a welcome companion for a spirited drive.

The factory specification includes a multifunctional steering wheel, air conditioning, electrically adjustable heated front seats with two-position driver memory, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors, and of course that gloriously appointed electric roof with heated rear screen.

Inside, the cabin is presented in excellent order given the car’s age, with slight signs of use and faint creasing on the driver’s seat, but no significant wear – reflecting the cars low mileage of just 45k miles.
