The NSX (New Sportscar Experimental) was Honda’s answer creating ‘an everyday supercar’, and benefitted from a little development help from Ayrton Senna.
This elegant black on black 1991 Japan-market example has covered 80,800kms and is in stunning condition.
Sitting beautifully on its original staggered set of 15″/16″ wheels, the low-slung, slender bodyshape of the NSX is unmistakable and it’s clear that this NSX has led a pampered life given its flawless presentation.
The black leather interior is of the same standard and the original equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, electric seats and Bose radio, while a delightfully retro Honda branded hands-free phone is perched on the driver’s A-pillar.
There’s no denying that the interior of an NSX is a very comfortable place to be, and this car in particular feels remarkably fresh.
The transverse mounted 3.0 V6 is a beautiful piece of engineering with 270bhp on offer, and the 4-speed automatic gearbox is surprisingly compliant while driving spiritedly.
A full service history accompanies the car, including its Japanese history, with the most recent service being carried just 1000kms ago by a Honda main dealer.
A genuine 90s icon and, in our eyes, the original Japanese supercar. A fantastic opportunity to own an unmolested NSX in the best colour combination.
