Daimler Double Six

There are many words to describe this 1992 Daimler Double Six 5.3 – handsome, sophisticated, refined – none of which really do it justice.

Finished in the timeless colour combination of Ascot Silver with Magnolia interior, this late model Series III is in exceptional condition having started out its life in Japan before being imported to the UK in 2018, and then making its way to Ireland in 2020.

Having covered just 73k miles in 21 years, this Double Six scores high in all areas. The bodywork is completely rust free and the interior, with its bucket-style seats and walnut dashboard, still feels factory fresh.

The car drives every bit as good as it looks, too, with the silky smooth and whisper quiet 5.3 V12 performing flawlessly and the overall ride quality still able to rival the newest of luxury cars.

Mechanically, the car has just treated to a major refresh to the tune of €4k and is one of the very best we have ever driven.

This is a very impressive example of Daimler’s one-time flagship car with a nice history file that needs nothing.
