The Volkswagen Golf GTI was the benchmark of fast hatchbacks when it went on sale in 1976, and today, Volkswagen is still setting the standard.

This beautiful 2017 Golf R DSG has had two owners and covered 28k miles with a full history.

Finished in the eye-catching colour of Tornado Red metallic, the body is immaculate and the upgraded 19” Pretoria wheels are in excellent condition and fitted with new tyres.
The interior, with its full leather trim, features the upgraded sound system with reversing camera and sat nav. Along with that, the car was specced with a full panoramic roof also and a personalised reg plate.

It must be said that the engine and drivetrain are nothing short of epic! The 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder with the DSG gearbox and 4MOTION 4-wheel-drive system is a stunning combination and the car’s performance is staggering – 0-60 in 4.9secs and a limited top speed of 155mph. If that was not good enough, the first owner brought that car when new to Daltons for a full Revo Stage 3 remap at huge cost of €7500. Complete with gearbox upgrade, hybrid turbo, carbon intake, intercooler and down pipe the car is absolutely insane.
