BMW M Coupe

Featuring the same 3.2 straight six engine and drivetrain from the E36 M3, the M Coupe is a lighter and nimbler car packaged in a beefed up Z3 body, and the result is a truly iconic driver’s car.

This 2000 example in Titan Silver metallic with contrasting black and orange leather interior is one of the finest examples we’ve seen having had a large amount of money spent on it in recent years to make it aesthetically and mechanically perfect.

The body was fully resprayed to an exceptional standard by AG Automotive in Portstewart with new sills, new windscreen and new door and window seals fitted. Rust proofing was carried out behind all panels, also, while the iconic wheels were acid dipped and painted in the correct shade of BMW silver.

The refurbishment was more than skin deep, too, with a complete under bonnet restoration carried out by Classic Marques in remarkable detail to ensure correct colour matching and restoration of al latches, bolts, vacuum lines, intake pipes and under trays. Even new stickers from BMW were fitted.

Further upgrades include Rouge Engineering rear top mounts, new BMW front top mounts, new BMW bushes fitted to rear axle, Randy Forbes rear subframe strengthening kit and a front strut bar.

The result is a superior and incredibly impressive example of one of BMW’s last ‘analogue’ cars with bold styling and addictive performance make it a true modern classic.

There is a large and impressive history file with the car which has had four brand new Michelin PS4 tyres just fitted and has been fully paint corrected and ceramic coated by Dunlop detailing.

This is a very well cared for and sorted M Coupe that will rival more exotic and contemporary machinery for sheer driving pleasure.
