BMW E36 328i

The E36 had big shoes to fill after the success of the E30, but its much anticipated arrival didn’t disappoint. Arriving in 1990 the E36 was a real head turner and dawned the new age of the BMW.

In excellent original overall condition, this original Irish 1996 328i is finished in Brilliant Red metallic with Anthrazite grey interior which, we think, is a match made in heaven. The spec list also includes a tilt and slide sunroof, electric windows, centre armrest and digital onboard computer.

Being a standard model, the suspension can be on the soft side. This has been counteracted by the previous owner with Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs. Combined with the superb roadholding and comfort, it makes for an unbelievable driving experience in one of the last great analogue BMWs.

The history file covering the car’s mere 38k miles is evidence of the how well the car has been maintained, too, and it has had a recent mechanical refresh using genuine BMW parts throughout. The intake manifold has been replaced, with the M50 manifold. This gives better induction on the M52 engine and releases more power. (Original included)

The car has been kept in pristine original condition with very few marks on the car. Anything that is present is totally within the boundaries of the cars age and mileage.
