BMW E31 840ci

Originally sourced from JKC in Coleraine and registered in the Republic by its first keeper, this 1997 840ci has been kept in exceptional condition over its 75k miles.

The Pacific Blue paintwork is excellent and the rare original Throwing Star alloys are perfect. Inside, the grey leather electric memory seats show little to no wear and everything works exactly as it should. A head cloth had been fitted in recent years which is a common weak point for this generation of 8 series. A very well specced model containing upgraded original head unit, heated seats, rear blind and sunroof.

Being a 1997 model, it is fitted with the 4.4 V8 engine with better fuel economy and torque than the earlier 4.0 engines. These later engines are not susceptible to the early nikasil liner issues and were heavily updated.

The car comes with a large history file and has been meticulously maintained by its two and only owners. Most recently the car has had a major service, tyres, suspension joints and brakes all round and a rheostat for the heating system at great expense.
