Our first glimpse of the stunning DBS came in 2006 in Casino Royale, but its sleek styling and perfect proportions haven’t aged a day.
This 4-owner 2009 example in Storm Black is simply spectacular and has covered 39k miles in its 14 years.
While based on the DB9, the DBS is a lighter, faster and all-round much better proposition, and this extremely rare manual example is the one that everybody wants.
With its unique blend of aluminium, magnesium alloy and carbon fibre body panels – including those snarling bonnet vents and carbon fibre rear diffuser – the DBS is a wonderful mix of purpose and elegance. Other enhancements include carbon ceramic brakes, upgraded differential and faster steering rack.
The interior is sensational with its mix of carbon fibre, leather and suede and boasts amazing attention to detail such as red stitching, beautifully crafted switch gear and an overall sense of quality and function. The usual refinements such as heated electric memory seats, sat nav, cruise control, parking sensors etc are all present, too, as you would expect.
Crucially, this DBS has a full main dealer service history with €10k recently spent on servicing and upgrades such as new plugs and coils, new primary cats, 3-way switchable exhaust and an ECU map to increase performance of the already magnificent 5935cc V12. The car’s last service was with Charles Hurst and was given a clean bill of health.
This is a remarkable and very desirable example of a rare and real modern-day classic that would be a wonderful addition to any collection, or to take on cross-continent adventures in real 007 style.
