This is a 1967 Toyota Corona RT40, powered by the 1.5-litre (1500cc) engine with four-speed manual transmission, first registered on 4th August 1967. Finished in its striking Solar Red with red vinyl interior and cream headlining, the car presents beautifully and remains highly original in character.

The car shows a very low indicated mileage, supported by an extraordinary history file including every single MOT from new, along with service records dating back to the late 1960s. Documentation also includes previous tax discs, making this one of the most comprehensively documented Coronas you’re ever likely to find.

Over the last 10 years the car has been sympathetically restored, with significant recent expenditure including:

•New exhaust system

•Front brakes fully rebuilt

•Chrome work restored

•Cylinder head rebuilt with hardened valve seats, allowing it to run on unleaded fuel
