In a bid to return to the company’s roots with sporty saloons, Alfa Romeo brought in Ferrari chassis designer, Philippe Krief, to develop a rear wheel drive, longitudally engined saloon and the result is the beautiful and capable 952 Giulia.

Still bearing its original Tracta Motors dealer sticker, this 2018 Super Lux example is spectacular in its Alfa Rosso red paint with bronze 18” wheels and carbon fibre trim, and has undeniable presence on the road.

The black leather interior carries the same Italian flare and is beautifully appointed with upgraded alluminium paddle-shift, radar-controlled cruise control, keyless start and lots more besides.

In normal daily use the Giulia is perfectly quiet, smooth and refined, just as you would hope. But, when pushed, it comes alive with an impressive 280bhp on tap from 2.0 turbo engine, a perfect 50/50 balanced chassis, plus the epic 8-speed ZF gearbox.

The car has been meticulously maintained, too, by its 2 owners over its 94k kms.
