Fewer cars envoke the true spirit of the American muscle car than the Mustang, and this first generation 1965 example embodies everything we revere them for.

Presented in stunning condition with a huge amount of money spent in its recent life, this Candy Red 289ci is the purest form of Mustang there is with an abundance of chrome, sumptuous black leather interior and a 4.7 V8 under the hood.

Having had a major refresh approximately 10 years ago, the car presents beautifully in all departments with every component being sympathetically replaced or refurbished from window rubbers to suspension, gearbox to electrics.

The result is a very handsome and beautifully performing American icon.

The 289ci V8 and 3-speed automatic gearbox have been professionally rebuilt and some upgrades such as electronic distributer and air conditioning were fitted at the same time. In fact, every single facet of the car has had some sort of similar attention to make it perfect (full list available on request).

Being a GT, this Mustang has the very welcome addition of disc brakes up front, too.

This is not the usual tired Mustang. The car scores excellently in all departments and is a blast to drive with all the theatre and spectacle you could want from a V8 muscle car.
