High up on the list – if not top of the list – of the most iconic cars ever made is the Volkswagen Beetle…and for good reason, too.
This 1967 example is a rare and desirable right-hand-drive 1500 model and is in beautiful condition having been previously restored and covering just 52k miles in its 58 years.
The grey bodywork presents very well and the glass, chrome, lights and wheels are all excellent. A beautiful aluminium/wood period correct roof rack sits proudly on the roof, too.
The black interior is surprisingly comfortable and pleasantly spacious and retains all of its original fixtures and fittings.
On the road, the wonderful 1500 engine performs exceptionally well and the car is a joy to drive having just been serviced and receiving a front and rear brake rebuild plus new steering box.
This is a beautifully presented example of a true icon that will put a smile on the face of anyone driving it.
Viewing strictly by appointment. All cars supplied with valid NCT where appropriate.
