BMW E34 M5 Touring

Built to take on the mighty Mercedes W124 E Class, BMW beat them at their own game with the E34 5 Series  and then upped the level even further with the coveted M5.

This beautifully spec’d 1993 Touring example (1 of just 891 produced – all LHD) boasts many rare features and has been beautifully maintained over its 32 years.

Finished in the rare and wonderful colour of Daytona Violet, the paintwork (with its silver lowers) and bodywork are superb, and the iconic Throwing Star wheels are in stunning condition, too.

The interior is equally impressive with its rare alcantara/Motorsport fabric sport seats and the car has the bonus of being a non-sunroof example, too. Other upgrades include 4 electric windows, electric mirrors, plus built-in rear door blinds and dog guard.

E34s are known for their incredible engineering and driving experience, too, and a coveted later 3.8 6-cylinder engine sits under the bonnet which offers a wonderful soundtrack, superb reliability and an impressive 340bhp. Notably, the engine had a full rebuild at the hands of reknowned specialists, Classic MD Autos, in the UK.

A manual gearbox, LSD and adaptive suspension also add to the performance characteristics of the M5.
