It’s hard to believe that the TT’s first appearance on our roads was 27 years ago in 1998 given how well the overall design has stood the test of time.
With its longer and wider stance, plus a whole host of other upgrades, the second-generation TT stayed true to the design icon while making a huge leap forward in comfort and performance.
This early-production Cabriolet example from 2007 still impresses today and boasts the ultimate drive-train package of the 3.2 V6 petrol engine with manual gearbox and Quattro 4wd system.
Finished in Brilliant Red with 18” anthracite alloys and black leather interior, this is a very attractive TT that presents extremely well having covered just 60k miles.
With the roof up, the comfortable heated seats and well-appointed cabin make for a refined driving experience. Then pop the roof down for the wind in your hair and a better earshot of that V6 exhaust note as you drop a gear on gun it on your favourite backroad.
Speaking of which, the TT is an incredibly accomplished car when pushed on a stonking 250bhp, perfect 50/50 weight distribution and all of the grip that comes from Quattro.
Fully serviced 4k miles ago, this is a nicely spec’d TT that wants for nothing.
