Audi S8

Made infamous by the legendary car chase in the movie Ronin, the first-generation Audi S8 is a car that needs little introduction.

This 2002 example is a late production facelift model and has been beautifully maintained.

Adorned with extras such as sat nav, heated front and rear seats, sunroof, rear blind and side blinds, this S8 is a remarkably refined and comfortable place to be.

The facelift wasn’t just skin deep either as the 4.2 V8 engine in these later models was upgraded to 5 valves per cylinder to bring the power output up to 355bhp with 317 lb-ft of torque, too. Coupled with the upgraded 5-speed Tiptronic gearbox, this executive saloon is simply awesome to drive.

There is an all-important impeccable service history covering the car’s 129k miles, and a major service including plugs, oil, filters, new radiator, front and rear brakes, timing belt, water pump and suspension parts was recently carried out. Add to this a fresh gearbox service and and this S8 now needs absolutely nothing.

This is a rare and beautiful example of a legendary fast executive saloon that has the cool factor in spades.
